About

Losing a parent, growing up without a mother or father and/or growing up in foster care are some of the most difficult experiences a child can endure. "Parents For Grown-Ups" is a mission-driven  "Bumble-styled" matching app, virtual community and in-person community that allows motherless, fatherless and parentless adults to swipe, search for and connect with parent figures and peers and connect in-person with adults who can help to substitute the loss of having that essential presence in a child's life.

Our multi-layered system of care includes:

● A Bumble/Hinge styled matching app to help users connect with mentors, mother/father figures, and peers

A virtual community that serves as a digital gathering space for shared healing and emotional growth

● Programs of in-person events with local community partnerships that deepen those bonds in the real world and build lasting chosen families

With 20+ million American adults reporting a lack of emotional or physical parental support, the time for this innovation is now.

Users will have access to a unique community of individuals who share similar experiences and can provide guidance and support.
